“Drum Circle” featuring works by Jenevieve Reid, Dominant Dansby, and Susan Stair opens on January 25th at the Aloft Hotel located at 2296 Frederick Douglass Boulevard between 123rd and 124th Street. The exhibition presents mixed media works that embody the sound, texture and movement of the city. Through the use of various materials including clay, molded paper, paint and pencil the artists each represent the tension of nature with manmade structures and a very subtle underlying conflict of opposing forces.
