FLUX Art Fair in collaboration with NYC Parks, NYC DOT (Department of Transportation) and Marcus Garvey Park Alliance will present all Public Art Projects in Marcus Garvey Park, East Harlem Art Park and Malcolm X Blvd (Lenox Avenue), covering over 20 acres of parkland and spanning both East and Central Harlem. FLUX Art Fair launches during Frieze Week with an opening celebration on May 3, 2016 and continues throughout the month with curator brunches at Harlem restaurants, tours of the public art, performance art and additional special events, to be announced. he landscape of the two parks and Malcolm X Blvd provide opportunities for both established and emerging artists to submit proposals from large sculptural pieces for some of the vast greenscapes or boulevard sites to intricate installations on fences or in some of the pocket gardens throughout either of the parks. Submissions are being accepted through the end of January
