In the artist’s words, “Nature is everything for me, I find every ism or style of painting within it. Deferring to the experience is paramount, letting nature guide me through the picture and show me its structures. I paint portraits of space, honoring the specific features of the moment or series of moments I’m depicting. Integrity of the experience is everything to me.”
