Queens Art Express is a spring arts festival of exhibitions, events, performances, and great places to eat in the vibrant cultural communities of Queens, NY, along the route of the No. 7 train and beyond. Join us for exciting Cultural Events — in dance, film, literature, music, performance, theatre, visual art and more — at some of Queens top arts spaces.
This year 12 creators were commissioned across disciplines to produce provocative new work that imagines a world where artists remix public policy on Health Care, Housing, and the Economy. Raising the question, “What If We Made A New World?”, the collaborations will be presented at the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning (JCAL) in Jamaica, Crossing Art in Flushing, and Artists Wanted in Long Island City.
After soaking up the art, visit some of Queens most irresistible restaurants. QAX will point you in the right direction with The Moveable Feast, which pairs local artists with local restaurants to produce short videos on neighborhood hot spots.
