MANUELA FILIACI at Art 101
POEMS THAT I CANNOT WRITE AND WISH I COULD
MANUELA FILIACI exhibited her new work at ART 101 from March 23 to April 22.
Filiaci’s ‘poems’ lure us into her world – suffused with color, mystery, suggestion; do we hear music too?
Filiaci has exhibited extensively in Europe and the US. She was born in Vicenza and came to New York where she earned a BFA from The School of Visual Arts. Her credits include curating at the Parallel Window NY 1979 – 1988, designing the sets and costumes for La Mama Theatre E.T.C. and teaching at the NYU program in Venice.
ART 101 is located at 101 Grand St, Brooklyn NY. The gallery is open from 1 to 6 Friday through Sunday, or by appointment; 718-302 02242.
The gallery is wheelchair accessible.
