Pelavin Gallery presents the newest segment of their ongoing concert series. Next Thursday 3 February, from six to eight in the evening, Australian based singer & songwriter, Sam Willoughby, will perform several tracks from his newly released solo album titled Things Fall Apart. This live performance will be held in collaboration with the solo exhibition of Australian born mixed-media artist, Timothy Paul Myers, titled The Ontario Ration.

Sam Willoughby: Things Fall Apart
Sam Willoughby is an accomplished singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His talents are enshrined in the three albums and two EPs of his own compositions he’s recorded – as well the music he’s composed for theatre. He has performed and recorded with some of the biggest names in Australian popular music including Jim Moginie (Midnight Oil), Shane Nicholson, John Schumann (ex Redgum), Bill Chambers, Troy Cassar Daley and many others. Things Fall Apart is Willoughby’s third solo album.

Timothy Paul Myers: The Ontario Ration
Born in Australia in 1972, Timothy Paul Myers has recently been the focus of numerous articles and interviews in such prestigious media outlets as: The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times and WWD Magazine. The artists’ work has been widely shown in gallery and museum context in America as well as internationally and has been included in such prominent permanent collections as Richard Meiers’ One Grand Army Plaza and the entrepreneur Tory Burch.
