SITE Fest is a two-day interdisciplinary event highlighting the diversity of performance in Bushwick.  Encompassing and blending a variety of forms including theater, dance and music, SITE investigates our neighborhood as an unfolding collaborative performance enacted in urban space. You don’t have to live or work in Bushwick to participate, all performers and groups are welcome.

SITE centers around four hub spaces: Chez Bushwick (www.chezbushwick.net), Grace Exhibition Space (www.grace-exhibition-space.com), The Bushwick Starr (thebushwickstarr.org), and 3rd Ward (www.3rdward.com). You can register to perform in one of our hub spaces, where you will get space to perform, basic tech, and the support of a space manager and tech manager.

Performances will also take place in alternate locations including galleries, homes, studios, streets, and gardens. You can register to perform in your own Satellite Space (as long as it’s in Bushwick).

If you are a musician who’s interested in performing as part of SITE, please contact Todd Leibowitz (toddowitz@gmail.com) to register for ionSOUND, our corresponding music festival. ionSOUND will take place on March 5 + 6 at Goodbye Blue Monday (www.goodbye-blue-monday.com).
Registration is open until January 24. Visit http://artsinbushwick.org/site2011/register/ for more information on Festival registration, or contact us at sitefest@artsinbushiwck.org.
